Highland Cottage is situated on peaceful, private five acres overlooking the Tukairangi Valley.

Lake Taupo is accessible in 15 minutes by foot, for a swim or a fish. Also within a 5 minute drive are tennis courts, restaurant/bar and shop. Vineyard, golf course and boat ramps are all close by.

The cottage includes 1 queen-sized bedroom ensuite, a fold-out double bed, a self-contained kitchen with full cooking facilities, dining area and lounge with TV and cosy fire.

Enjoy your self-help breakfast 'al-fresco' style on your own sunny deck. It includes free-range eggs and bacon, or provisions for continental breakfast as required.

Alteratively take a short wander down the quiet road to the cafe for a coffee and view of some local art. Fishing trip (by arrangement), thermal attractions, beaches, ski fields (1hr away) and mountain bike riding all easily accessible.
